YouthVille Detroit collaborates with many community partners in providing program services to youth and their families. Some organizations are directly contracted to work with DYF staff in providing program resources to youth members of YouthVille. These are commonly referred to as
program partners. Typically, these program partners do not independently maintain leased administrative or program space within the facility.
Upwards of 10 - 12 other community organizations have co-located within YouthVille and lease space from DYF for administrative and/or program purposes. These are known as
tenant partners. The co-location in the facility of the tenant partners, all of whom support youth, their families or other non-profits, creates a continuum of youth services in the YouthVille hub. The ability of these organizations to work cooperatively creates an atmosphere for increased collaboration and provides supports to respond to youth needs in a variety of ways.
