YouthVille Detroit collaborates with many community partners in providing program services to youth and their families.  Some organizations are directly contracted to work with YouthVille staff in providing program resources to youth members.  These are commonly referred to as Program Partners. 

DivaGroove Fashion House
Diva Grove is a full service fashion and design art program that trains young women and men in all aspects of the fashion and modeling industry. Instructed by local Detroit fashion designer and model who is well known in the fashion design and modeling industry.

Elite Archery, Inc.
Promotes and teaches the Olympic sport of archery to youth and introduces them to competitive tournament play while building upon leadership skills.

Michigan State University (MSU)
A community partner that focuses on the research of youth, community, and economic development with attention to projects and programs that benefit children and youth in Detroit and support their educational efforts and aspirations.

Mosaic Youth Theatre
Mosaic specializes in artistic studies for young actors, singers, and stage technicians. Through its First Stage Program offered at YouthVille, Mosaic is developing talented young artists and new diverse audiences for the performing arts.

Pewabic Pottery
Pewabic Pottery is nationally renowned for its tile and pottery in unique glazes. Through its Education Department, Pewabic partners with YouthVille to provide ceramic art instruction in YouthVille’s own ceramic studio.

Think Detroit PAL
ThinkDetroit PAL builds character in young people through athletic, academic and leadership development programs. The organization provides instruction at YouthVille for young people to learn the basic fundamentals of volleyball through skill development drills and tournament play.

University of Michigan (U of M)
U of M professors provide evaluation services to YouthVille to measure the outcome success of its many programs. They also work closely with participants in the UM Youth Dialogue on Race & Ethnicity program who engage with a diversity of youth from throughout the state at the UM Ann Arbor Campus.

Wayne State University (WSU)
Students referred through WSU Honors Program and the School of Social Work internships provide homework assistance and mentorship to youth.

Peace Project
Youth promoting peace through community service projects, political action and media projects. Also facilitates the YouthVille Spoken Word Poetry Collective, an in-house collective of aspiring poets, storytellers, song writers who perform and publish their works.

The Sunday Dinner Company
Detroit restaurant chef and owner provide culinary, food and beverage training, dinning etiquette and restaurant management to aspiring young culinary artist.

Detroit Opera House (Cadillac Café)
The DOH Cadillac Café provides banquet service, food and beverage training development and employment opportunities for aspirant young foodies, chefs and culinary artist. The Cadillac Café is also a continued sponsor and strong supporter of YVD’s annual Fashion Against AIDS Fashion Show that raise awareness about the increasing number of HIV among teenagers and young adults.

Ready Set Media
Provide video production and training for youth members who have expressed an interest in video production, television programming, public service announcements, commercials, three-point lighting and technical direction, editing and graphic arts.

Evolution Enterprise Group
Trains youth is all aspects of the radio and television production to include script writing and development, on air talent, editing, news packages and creating commercials and public service announcements campaigns to raise awareness about youth related concerns and issues. Also leads the Mentoring Through Media program for young men who want to advance in the media and news reporting platforms.

STEM Genius
Provides Science Technology Engineering and Mathematic programs that engage youth in the area of aquatic (underwater) robotics, architectural building design, urban planning and development, solar and wind turbine energy and power.

NanoSongs LTD
Instructs youth members in basic digital beat making production and music concepts.

Mike Huckaby
Detroit and International DJ and House and Techno Music Producer Extraordinaire
World renowned producer who has traveled the world performing, producing and teaching the latest digital music programs to existing and budding producers. Huckaby is responsible for connecting YVD with Native Instruments, DuBSpot, Moog Music Inc. Paxahau and the Detroit Electronic Movement Festival and Red Bull. He provides individual instruction and music apprenticeship opportunities for youth members who wanted to seriously branch into this aspect of the music industry. He specifically instructs students in Abelton Live industry standard software programs.

Usher New Look Leadership Academy
A leadership program for young developing artists who desire to hone their skills while actively participating in leadership and service learning projects. Youth who demonstrate commitment get the opportunity to travel and showcase project they have worked collectively upon each year of the program to earn local, national and international leadership certifications.

Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program (DAPCEP)
Provide college preparation and engineering classes that help to enrich youth learning opportunities and help them to score beyond the standard ACT requirements or improve upon an existing low score.

Michigan Roundtable for Diversity and Inclusion (MRIDI)
MRDI works closely with metropolitan youth and YVD members to increase their awareness, knowledge, understanding and sensitivity about diversity by engaging them in various leadership and activism projects throughout metropolitan Detroit.

Focus Hope
Works with youth to actively engaged them in community safety initiatives to increase safety zones by their schools, neighborhoods and area parks. Youth will coordinate and develop media safety awareness projects to be distributed in the “Safety Station” within YVD and throughout Detroit.

Hero By Design Studios
Youth are instructed in story boarding, graphic arts, design and cartoon illustration. Students are able to build a personal digital portfolio featuring all of their graphic work and art they created during the class.

Muted Music Group
Provides digital beat making and music instruction to youth members that desire to learn music production and creation for the hip-hop and pop music industry. Reason digital music software programs and curriculum are used to instruct youth.

STEM Educational Solutions LLC.
Students are instructed in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematic VEX Robotic programs that focus on robotic configurations, design, programming of competition robots that are used to compete in local, national and world robotic tournaments and championships.

Mind and Body Basketball
Focuses on the development of helping to improve and enhance the basketball fundamentals and mental discipline of student athletes through life- skills training and mentorship.
